Long ago, during the reign of Louis XV, two Parisian jewellers, Charles Boehmer and Paul Bassenge, created a spectacular diamond necklace that made history. On the orders of the King, they sought and achieved perfection.
Today, in homage to these fellow artisans and inspired by their uncompromising craftsmanship, a new boutique Maison de Haute Joaillerie bears their illustrious name. Calling on decades of experience and years of planning, the partners in this present-day atelier are achieving the same impeccable standards.
The diamonds incorporated into the jewels of Boehmer et Bassenge are not in the world’s top 1% – they are in the world’s top 1,000,000th of 1%. The most beautiful anomaly of nature, they are a gift that is rarely given. These large diamonds of D colour, Flawless purity and perfect symmetry are most often consigned to museums.

Boehmer et Bassenge specialises in iconic diamonds which are beyond comparison. Representing the pinnacle of Haute Joaillerie, the atelier creates one-of-a-kind masterpieces for the most extraordinary, most beloved women.
Haute Joaillerie has its provenance in Paris. Boehmer et Bassenge employs only the traditional techniques, passion and flair synonymous with French jewellery.
Sketches, inspiration, collaboration and then design… drawing on centuries of culture and tradition dating back to the age of Versailles. Gouache drawings are created by our jewellery designers and each and every detail is meticulously noted and followed.
The artist and atelier collaborate closely to create a handcrafted diamond jewellery piece that will create both excitement and refinement… and history.
In 1772, the command from King Louis XV to Boehmer et Bassenge was clear: ‘Surpass all others’. This principle still holds true today, as each piece is destined to earn a place in the history of diamonds.
